Server Software Engineer – Burbank, CA, USA
POSITION SUMMARY
Develops, maintains and documents web and games server software components. Interfaces with other organizations to define requirements and guide them through the development process for new or enhanced generic game engines and tools that satisfy requirements of multiple organizations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design, develop, document software components
· Interface with organizations to define requirements and schedules for technologies
· Provide maintenance support and assist with updates to existing game/web technologies

· Interface with external vendors to coordinate integration of technologies
· Research third-party technologies for application to internal requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor¹s Degree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience, Computer Science degree is preferred
· Must have at least 2 years in server side programming on socket server(s)
· Experience developing C/C++ applications in a Linux, Apache, MySQL
· Experience in requirements gathering and process execution
SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
· Expertise in server-side web application development languages such as Java, JSP, Servlets, SQL.
· A full understanding of TCP and UDP including coding Server/Socket applications in Java and C++
· Experience with source control systems such as CVS, or SVN
