SPECIFIC SKILLS
• Manages, coordinates, and facilitates multiple projects and process improvement initiatives related to the development of video games
• Ensures product quality and success
• Provides strategic, expert advice and consultation on the design and implementation of effective administrative and business processes including process analysis, redesign, reengineering, and organizational effectiveness
• Works closely with production, design, art, engineering, and audio teams
• Participates in the establishment, organization, and implementation of short and long range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates program effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement
• Develops integrated project plans, implementation schedules, and cost estimates for major project development
• Prepares and manages annual project budgets and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses
• Identifies and resolves conflicts between schedule, budget, and design goals
• Participates in planning marketing strategies for products and gives input into the development of marketing materials
• Represents the project to various internal divisions as well as to various external entities
• Communicates regularly with executive management and administration regarding the status of current project initiatives
• Defines initial project scope and delivery schedules; manages day to day project schedules and motivates team towards a common project goal
• Proactively anticipates and adjusts for problems and roadblocks; acts as a change agent for process improvements
Basic QualificationsREQUIREMENTS
• 3-6 years experience related directly to the duties and responsibilities specified
• Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
• Ability to develop project budgets and projections
• Strong resource planning experience; skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
• Ability to initiate or implement development process improvements to achieve efficiencies
• Strong ability to set objectives, prioritize and organize tasks and assign resources
• Ability to formulate policy, develop and implement new strategies and procedures
• Ability to analyze comprehensive business processes, perform in-depth work analyses, and develop computer generate flow charts
• Minimum of 2 shipped products with production credit.
