Lead Web Developer – Edmonton, AL, Canada
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in coding and/or architecting enterprise level applications for the web
- Experience in managing and providing support for enterprise level application systems such as source control applications, issue/bug tracking systems, etc.
- Experience in managing small teams of developers and/or support staff
- Experience in project management and leading projects to successful completion
- Proven track record of delivering exemplary customer service and leading small teams
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of PHP is essential
- Demonstrated experience in coding security-conscious web applications
- Familiarity with Perl, Python, Java, Ruby, ASP, VB Script and other scripting languages an asset
- Experience in managing databases (specifically MySQL and SQL Server) and creating and maintaining transactional applications an asset
- Experience in using and coding on and for Linux systems an asset
Education
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
