Joseph Cairns, CEO

Joseph has worked in the recruitment industry since 1998. He was born in the United Kingdom has lived and worked in London, New York, Los Angeles and is now based in Bangalore. He founded Adventure Recruitment in 2006 with the aim of being the most significant video game recruitment firm and delivering exceptional careers and talent to their customers.

Joseph has pioneered international recruitment campaigns for companies such as Electronic Arts where he recruited 25 senior video game specialists from the UK to join their Vancouver studio, for Openwave where he recruited 30 senior programmers from India to join their San Francisco offices, High Moon Studios where he recruited 12 programmers and artists to relocate from the UK to their San Diego studio, and Codemasters where he recruited 20 senior games professionals to relocate from the US and Canada to their UK studio. Across Joseph’s career he has helped 100′s of candidates relocate internationally to exciting new opportunities, and made a critical difference to companies’s staffing requirements.

Joseph now trains and leads the Adventure Recruitment team on recruiting, market knowledge, integrity and enjoying your work. He is pleased to see the team has grown from 0 to 15 staff since 2006, and looks forward to continued growth and expansion into new market areas. Joseph continues to regularly travel between India, the USA and the UK.

When Joseph is not busy at Adventure Recruitment he regularly plays squash and is currently ranked 29 in Bangalore,  is a semi-professional photographer,  and enjoys traveling and scuba diving.
